These clamps (set of 3) can be used to hold the face of the encoder against a mounting plate and allow the user to rotate the encoder for proper orientation before securing the clamps. They are used with the H25E or H20E with a clamping groove, or the Model H25G with a clamping ring. There are two different types of Synchro Clamps. The 31165-001 works with encoders with an “E” style servo groove, while the 31165-002 works with a “G” style servo groove.
