This high-impact plastic cage protects hollow-shaft style encoders from mechanical damage during handling and installation. It is used either withh the HS25 or the HS35 encoder and has a side cutout to allow for tether arm placement. It accepts a NEMA 56 standard motor face and can be used with either a through shaft or blind shaft style of encoder. The 26068-003 protective cover assembly comes with a clip, but no bolts and the 26068-001 protective cover assembly includes the 3/8-16×3/4 bolt.
